John Martin is a human/Tau'ri who services in the United States Airforce with the rank of Major and service onboard the United States Airforce Daedalus-Class Battlecruiser Enterprise as Executive officer and is the husband of Lieutenant Colonel Marcia Taylor. (Stargate: Enterprise)

Biography[]
Early Life[]
In 1989 John Martin was born to James Martin and Marie Martin in Knoxville, Tennessee for years he's been having a great childhood with his family even though his father was away a lot. At the age 19 in 2009 he applied for the United States Airforce with the help of his father and mother.
United States Airforce Career[]
Airforce Academy[]
He was at the Airforce Academy and was the best student out of all of them, he graduated top of his class.
Deployment in Iraq[]
when the time came he was deployed to Iraq where he met then Major John Sheppard and the two became good friends along with an Air man who was killed in the line of duty.
After the whole court martial was over and Tyson wasn't charge with disobeying a direct order from his superior officer, he was placed on a leave of Absence for a few days to clear his head a few days passed by and John was approached by his best friend Major Jade Wilson to join the classified Stargate program as second in command of SG-11 he accepts the assignment.
SG-11[]
When he was off-world SG-11 came under heavy fire from a squadron of Jaffa Colonel Kingston ordered Major Martin to head to the Gate and warn Stargate Command of the ambush, Martin follows the order and made it back to the SGC in one piece but the fate of SG-11 remains unknown to the young officer.

After he returned from shore leave he was assigned to the new Daedalus-Class Battle Cruiser Enterprise as first officer servicing with his former high school classmate Marcia Taylor who holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
